Established in the Atwood community in 1970 by the joining together of several different churches of differing faith backgrounds, United Church of Atwood was formed as an independent church. As a non-denominational church, we welcome people of all faith backgrounds to share in the worship of God. Our regularly scheduled services include Sunday School for all ages, nursery through adult, and a Sunday morning worship service. Organized ministry teams include: Trustees, Diaconate, and Christian Education. Our Executive Council meets monthly with the heads of all the ministry teams, for reports and planning for the future. Both the Women's and Men's Fellowships are actively involved in our ministry.
